Supply Planner Specialist

- Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to determine material requirements and develop accurate demand plans.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to ensure optimal availability without overstocking.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate terms, and manage relationships to optimize supply performance.
- Production Planning: Work closely with production teams to align supply with manufacturing schedules, ensuring that materials are available when needed.
- Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems and other tools to analyze data and generate reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and potential risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in supply chain processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure a seamless supply chain.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material management and supply/production planning role, chemical industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM module, SAP APO DP and SNP modules, MS software e.g. Excel, Power Point,
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge of logistics and material flow.
- Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s).
- Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
- Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, decision making skills, ability to initiate process improvement.
Education:
- S1 (Preferred)
- material management and supply/production planning: 5 years (Required)
