Ad-hoc Logistic Engineer / Supply Chain Analyst (FlexSim)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and validating simulation models using Flex Sim to analyze processes in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain.
Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to understand existing operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
Perform data collection and analysis to support the simulation models, ensuring accuracy and reliability of the inputs and outputs.
Participate in the execution of scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and optimization studies to assess different operational strategies.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the findings and recommendations based on simulation results.
Learn and apply best practices in simulation modeling and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in Flex Sim or other simulation software (e.g., Any Logic, Arena, Simul8).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in data analysis and modeling.
Familiarity with discrete event simulation (DES) concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with basic process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
