Job Vacancy: Accounts Specialist
Location: Spring Nurseries, Richardstown, Doneraile, Co. Cork
About Us: Spring Nurseries, a family-owned business with a 40-year legacy, specialises in producing an extensive range of high-quality bedding plants and potted plants, including a specialty line for the Christmas market. Employing over 50 local staff, we pride ourselves on our innovation in plant variety and our commitment to excellent service, supplying to large retail chains, independent outlets, councils, and landscapers nationwide.
The Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and discreet Accounts Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will encompass managing payroll, accounts receivable and payable, data entry, and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will also contribute to business analysis and reporting, assisting in strategic decision-making to foster business growth.
Responsibilities:

Manage payroll processes efficiently and confidentially.
Handle accounts receivable and payable.
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Generate financial reports for review by management to aid in making informed business decisions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in financial management or a similar role.
Proficiency in Sage Line 50 is essential.
Experience with Sage Micro Pay
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
