The Brasserie on the Corner is a multi-award-winning dining experience, regarded as one of Galway’s most popular restaurants. Specialising in steak and seafood dishes, it’s all about the taste. From farm to fork, market to plate, vineyard to glass, every taste tells a story. The suppliers are local, the menus are seasonal and the wine selection is world-class.
We are now recruiting an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team here at the Brasserie on the Corner.
The Role
  • Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including reservations, service, and guest interactions.
  • Maintain our high standards of service quality, ensuring every guest experience is memorable.
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to uphold our core values and exceptional service standards.
  • Oversee staff schedules, handle conflict resolution, and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Support in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining budget controls.
  • Collaborate with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure flawless coordination between the kitchen and front of house.
  • Uphold strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in driving sales and profitability through effective service, up-selling, and event coordination.
The Candidate
  • An individual who is charismatic, approachable, and professional with a can-do attitude.
  • A minimum of 3-years experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Good team management experience.
  • A customer-oriented approach.
  • Good time-management skills.
