We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Professional to assist in management of the operation in the Sally Gap Restaurant reporting to the Restaurant Manager. This roles offer a competitive pay rate, ongoing training, and complimentary transport to and from Bray Dart Station.

About the role:

• The main purpose of this role will be the delivery of 5* service to Powerscourt’s guests in F&B Outlet. The assistant manager's will hold responsibility for the highest levels of guest satisfaction while ensuring operational and financial target delivery.
• The manager's will ensure employees are properly trained on quality and 5* service standards and are empowered to carry out all job duties.
• The successful candidates will identify areas for development for their team leaders and supervisors, understanding the need for on the job coaching and feedback.
• Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
• The successful candidates must be able to deputise in the absence of senior management with professionalism and confidence in any requested duties.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ideally, the candidates should have 3+ years of similar experience in a similar property or environment
• The assistant manager will identify training needs for staff and take pride in team development and management coaching
• We are looking for a manager's who will deliver very high standards of knowledge and customer care
• A willingness for professional development in Powerscourt Hotel and with the MHL Hotel Collection.
