Assistant Support Worker (Relief) - Homeless Adult Services

€14.85 per hour for hours 'as and when required' plus relevant premiums e.g. Sundays (75%), Nights (18%), Evenings (10%).

The Granby Centre is currently recruiting for Relief Assistant Support Workers for both Day and Night shifts.
The role of a Relief Assistant Support Worker is fundamental to the Salvation Army’s desire to help vulnerable clients achieve positive outcomes. Working with residents with a range of support needs, you will be passionate, target driven, dynamic and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of services for vulnerable clients in a competitive climate. You will also champion excellence in terms of ensuring our clients are central to our services and successful individual outcomes are achieved.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by homeless and vulnerable clients
Experience of working with vulnerable individuals
Values of integrity and accountability within working practice
Ability to manage own work load and case load and ability to take the lead at meetings with external agencies.

The shift pattern and hours of the Relief Assistant Support Worker role are 'as and when required'. Relief roles allow individuals to accept and work shifts that are offered around their other responsibilities and offer a great first step into a rewarding career in social care.
The hourly rate of pay is €14.85 plus any evening (10%), night (18%) and Sunday (75%) premiums.
