Barista Trainer (Full-time)

Founded in 2011, Dublin Barista School has pioneered barista education in Ireland. Today we train thousands of students each year who then get jobs around the world with our certification.
We are presently hiring enthusiastic people to join our Training Team.
With our help, we ensure that all Barista Trainers are proficient in delivering high-quality courses and providing exceptional customer service in line with the company's standards. The successful candidate will be taken through our 6 month "Trainers Programme" which has been built over the last 10 years by our expert team. Expect to learn not just about coffee but also life and professional skills such as public speaking and psychology.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver our bespoke and industry renowned training programs for students.
• Engage with students to gather feedback and ensure a high level of satisfaction with training provided ensuring that a memorable experience is delivered.
• Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to develop their skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to engage trainees and facilitate learning.
• Provide a professional and fun learning environment.
• Once fully trained, assist in the training and development of newer team members.
• The role incorporates both training delivery in class as well as training delivery on location where the team member must be able to drive one of our vans.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista.
• Previous experience in training/teaching is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities:

• Understanding of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for delivery of training to students of all ages.
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Must hold a full & clean driving licence and be over the age of 25 years for insurance purposes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for handling coffee equipment.

• May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
