Barista/Cafe Assistant

An exciting opportunity to develop a variety of skills, knowledge and experience in a dynamic and friendly environment - this is a front-line customer service role involving food handling, barista and till responsibility, maintaining stock levels in our retail outlet and ensuring high standards of hygiene within the hospitality area. This role involves engaging with customers/visitors to ensure their best possible experience not just in our premises but within the area. As a small team, flexibility is important and the successful candidate will be required to engage in production duties on occasion when required at peak times - this also offers the opportunity for additional hours. Barista training and other training will be provided as necessary, although experience may be advantageous. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be warm, friendly and confident, and will work well on own initiative as well as part of a team. Weekend work is required as an integral part of this role.
