Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Batching Plant Operator for our manufacturing facility in Belturbet, Co. Cavan. The Batching Plant Operator oversees the daily operations of the concrete batching plant, ensuring the correct mix and consistency of materials for production. This includes monitoring plant equipment, adjusting settings, conducting regular maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

• Operate batching equipment to mix materials such as cement, aggregate, water, and additives in correct proportions.
• Monitor plant operations to ensure continuous and efficient production.
• Adjust machine settings and calibration as necessary to maintain quality control.
• Record production data, including quantity and type of mix produced.
• Perform routine maintenance on batching plant equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure the batching plant is operated safely and in compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage the inventory of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, and additives. Communicate with site supervisors, quality control teams, and other stakeholders regarding production schedules and batch requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in operating a concrete batching plant or similar industrial machinery.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems related to plant operations.
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments, lift heavy materials, and operate equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
