At FJS Joinery we require an experienced Bespoke Joinery Autocad Technician to join our team. Based in Edenderry Co Offaly we are a fitted furniture company that manufactures bespoke furniture for commercial projects across Ireland. Projects include Office Fit-outs, Hotels, Bars, Schools, Primary Care Centres and one off housing developments.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Have the ability to produce high end joinery drawings from design to production using Autocad
• Liaise with Clients, Designers and Architects to discuss and agree design details, comments/approval of working drawings and also to amend drawings according to client instructions and issue revisions
• Liaise with shop floor to ensure furniture is manufactured per agreed drawings
• Upload all jobs to the company software package and update progress
• Manage Projects from start to finish including assisting in the procurement and management of materials
• Ensuring Projects are produced and completed according to clients timeframe
• Produce cutting lists and other production data required for each project
• Occasionally attend Client meetings and make site visits as and when required

Key Requirements

• Degree/Apprenticeship related to furniture and/or joinery
• Trained and proficient in CAD based software
• Have an in depth knowledge of Joinery practices, trades and techniques
• Have experience in managing a project from start to finish
• Strong communicator and team player working as part of a small team and be able to listen to and follow instruction from Senior Management
• Be flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
• Attention to detail is essential
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €35-45k per year DOE.
