Due to current work levels, we are seeking to add a CAD Technician to our team, to survey job requirements on site, provide workshop drawings of railings and gates using Auto CAD Lite and work closely with clients, production, and installation colleagues. This position will provide you with the opportunity to expand your skills set, while offering long term prospects and a positive working environment.
Ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have 3 years relevant experience as well as a clean full driving licence.
The successful candidate will be based out of our offices in Dunderry, Co. Meath. C15 EP60
Necessary Requirements, Skills and Responsibilities:

• Competent in MS Office and Auto CAD. Experience working with & reading 2D plans. Accurate interpretation of drawings, and technical specifications
• Carry out site surveys (sketch out taking levels, measurements etc.) to produce shop drawings

· Organise, produce material lists, issue workshop orders/drawings and engage with production according to demand ensuring all schedules support project requirements

• Understanding of steel fabrication & welding

· Excellent attention to detail, with strong verbal, writing and documentation skills, methodical in your approach with a can-do attitude
· Enjoy variety and opportunity to work/engage with different project teams
· Diligent and focused on continually improving quality, safety, cost, and output

• Adhere to and ensure all health & safety requirements are followed, with employee welfare at the forefront, by actively promoting an EHS culture, ensuring that employees adhere to safe work practices and standard operating procedures

· Any other duties as deemed required by management
