Category Executive

We have an opportunity for an effective and dynamic Category Executive to join our category team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the supplier price file and ensuring that any price queries that do arise are dealt with.
- Listing new product lines, processing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries for promotional and seasonal lines.
- Ensuring that all Repak packaging and space planning information is updated onto the system.
- Updating the promotional folder with all the relevant information that our Marketing colleagues require.
- Requesting promotional offers and discounts from suppliers.
- Ensuring that all trading agreements are up to date and on file.
- Dealing with Far East suppliers regarding purchase orders, packaging style, shipping marks and setting up Letters of Credit
- Tracking containers and chasing suppliers to ensure that our stock is shipped when we want it to be.
- Checking container arrivals and ensuring that the correct duty rates have been paid. Booking on containers and allocating stock as required.
- Dealing with Accounts and Store colleagues regarding issues that may arise on a day to day basis.
