Job Overview:
We are currently seeking passionate and skilled chefs to join our team at Monks Ballyvaughan. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our culinary vision, preparing and presenting delicious seafood dishes that showcase the best of Irish cuisine. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook seafood dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality, freshness, and consistency in every plate.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop and execute innovative menu offerings that reflect seasonal and local ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Work efficiently and effectively during busy service periods, demonstrating strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for menu development, incorporating feedback from guests and colleagues.
• Support the Head Chef in ordering and managing inventory, minimizing waste, and controlling costs.
• Uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence in food presentation, taste, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, working closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with a focus on seafood cuisine preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate clearly with kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications preferred but not essential.
