Part-time 8 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to help with covering annual leave or sickness if needed.

Cleaning General Operative Job description

• Undertake general cleaning of all non-clinical areas of the house.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls
• Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Stock linen area and supplies area
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
• Washing, drying, and ironing items necessary
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock needed for replenishing purposes
• Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
• Undertake other routine tasks such as hosing down the forecourt and dealing with recycling.
• Undertake any other duties as requested

Requirements:

• A can-do attitude
• Experience in a similar role
• An excellent working knowledge of English
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
• A knowledge of how to use equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
• Garda vetting is required.
