We are looking for someone to help us with deployments of Proxmox Clusters with Ceph as storage solution.
The candidate must have experience with setting up Networks and configuring firewalls and routers. (pf Sense, Opnsense, or Open v Switch)
General info:
Our company, Explode Labs Limited, provides private cloud solutions for small customers in Europe.
Right now we have clients that need small cloud deployments - with 8 servers for GPU compute and the software and networking equipment to operate them.
The scope of these varies from AI to 3D rendering.
We also help our clients with choosing the right hardware and with installations and implementations - so basic knowledge about hardware would be useful.
Part-time Position:
Dev ops / Cloud Engineer / Software developer
Requirements:
Knowledge of Ceph, Proxmox and Networking (VLANs, Firewalls, Routing etc)
Experience with cloud platforms
Knowledge about cloud computing software (Openstack or Proxmox) or willingness to learn
Knowledge about Hardware infrastructure deployments and remote management
Other Requirements:
Resident in Ireland with PPS number - we need to process monthly payroll
Tasks:
Automate deployments / infrastructure as code
Proper use of Git and code documenting
Developing Cloud Software and Hardware solutions
Technical decisions regarding software and infrastructure design
Coordinate with team/subcontractors
Software development
Customer support - debug, troubleshoot
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €20.00-€30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
