We are seeking a detail oriented, strategic and highly motivated Team Leader to join our Purchasing Administration Team. This is an ideal role for a positive, pro-active team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and will relish working under pressure.

What you'll do

Liaising with our colleagues in Lidl International and other Lidl countries
Leading and motivating a team
Maintaining internal systems and databases in both English and German
Actively engage and consult with other departments to ensure the integrity of the purchasing master data
Identify and capture how data quality can be improved and create solution proposals
Have an excellent understanding of procedures and processes relating to master data
Working with both operations and head office teams to ensure productive and efficient processes
Participate in or run projects at both a national and international level

What you'll need

Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team with a proven track record of developing team members
Fluent in German
Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
Previous project management experience, including planning, timelines and cost
Strong ownership of tasks with the ability to understand points of escalation
Proactive at keeping up to date with latest policies and procedures
Efficient decision making and organisational skills
The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
Positive can-do attitude with a desire to learn
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

What you'll receive

Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl

€49,500 rising to €63,000 after 3 years
20 days holidays per annum rising to 25 days after two years
