Location: Cork
You will be required to stay away from home during the week, with travel around Ireland expected.
Salary: €18.50 p/h, minimum 40 hours per week with overtime available.

Have been in business for over 40 years with offices in Cork and Belfast specializing in the sales service and repair of industrial steam boilers.
Due to continuous expansion, we have the requirement for a Commercial Mechanical Fitter to carryout various works on steam boiler plant across Ireland.
Job Purpose: This is a great opportunity to develop a career in the service and maintenance sector of mechanical engineering as full on the job training will be provided. Working with a senior engineer to assist in the annual inspection, service, repair, and maintenance of steam boiler equipment on various sites. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Duties:
You will be a key member of a small multi-discipline team, working on a range of Steam Boiler Equipment.
Assist with the boiler annual inspections, maintenance, installation, modification, or repair as appropriate of mechanical equipment in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner.
Assist with delivery, offloading, inspection, storage, and maintenance along with Stock maintenance.
Work as part of a small team to carry out all aspects of the planned and reactive maintenance on boiler equipment, pumps, pipework, and instrumentation.
Mechanical installation work at a variety of site locations throughout Ireland.
Assist with maintenance and fault finding complying with current Standards and Regulations.
Preparation of operational reports and Service & Maintenance Reports which also include any faults or failings that could affect the optimum efficiency of the equipment.
Always ensure excellent customer service.
Skills/Experience:
Basic literacy and numeracy skills, experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be an advantage.
A desire to learn as full training on our client’s equipment will be provided.
Physically fit and able to be trained in safety procedures including confined space entry.
A clean driving license with own transport. Work van will be provided after successful probation period.
Must be prepared to work away from home during the week.
