Job Title: Commercial Project Manager

Recognised as one of the largest firms in the West of Ireland, we pride ourselves on our extensive in-house fabrication unit and team of expert installation professionals. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary: As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be instrumental in leading our projects from tendering through to completion. This position demands a proactive approach in setting up and running live projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the tendering process, including document preparation, submission, and follow-up.
• Initiate and set up project parameters and infrastructure to support project execution.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Drive the sourcing and procurement of materials and services.
• Oversee a team, fostering a collaborative environment to meet project deliverables.
• Regular reporting to the Managing Director on project progress, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
• Significant experience in project management within the construction or related industries may substitute for formal qualifications.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to manage large-scale projects.
• Excellent people management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle high levels of responsibility and pressure.
