Job description
We are looking for a construction associate to join our team to help us provide our clients with quality services and to help expand our team and grow together.
The office is situated in Sandyford Business district, Dublin 18.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Purchase and hire equipment, materials and / or services for assigned projects
- Responsible for procurement process from sourcing materials to assisting with invoice clearance
- Sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors and negotiating prices. Building the contact list for future product opportunities
- Maintaining, updating, and organizing files / reports and Audits.
- Liaison with suppliers and accounts payable team regarding invoice queries
- Updating clients on project progress.
- Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Assisting collating information for monthly reports and/or meetings
- Complying with Health & Safety procedures
- 2 years plus in a similar role or qualification in construction administration or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills and full working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Strong negotiating skills
- Willing to take initiative
- Individual must be independent, self-motivated and flexible to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- A good understanding or knowledge of the property and/or construction industry
- Motivation to expand the company and work in diverse roles if needed
- Competent in Word, Excel and Power Point & good typing skills
- Position requires a high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, high degree of confidentiality is essential.
- Individual must be confident and assertive in making contact and dealing with sub-contractors, customers and suppliers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €33,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
