Carlton Hotel is a luxury 4-star Hotel with a broad clientele base including business clients and Park-Sleep-Fly travellers. We are conveniently located next to the Airport and just five minutes from the M1 and M50.
The Person:
We are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Assistant on a Full-time Basis for our F&B Breakfast Team. You will have very strong interpersonal skills, key to this important customer-facing role. You will be hard-working, have a great attitude, and delight in providing excellent customer service.

Specific responsibilities in this role include:

• To be fully familiar with our products and services
• To engage in set-up and cleaning of our outlets, as required
• Greeting guests with a warm, genuine smile and an engaging manner, to enhance their experience while visiting us
• Guiding guests to their table and ensuring that it is to their satisfaction
• Providing guests with details of the menu available, including any ‘specials’
• Taking guests orders for food and beverages, including noting any dietary requirements, and inputting the details onto the system fully and correctly
• Delivering orders to guests, promptly and efficiently
• Regularly checking with guests to ensure that everything is to their satisfaction
• Referring any issues to a senior member of the Team as soon as possible, if/as required
• To ensure that you always behave appropriately, treating everyone with whom you engage with dignity and respect
• To ensure that you maintain the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, uniform, appearance, body language, and conduct at all times
• To adhere to our health & safety training, policies, and procedures
• To ensure that we offer excellent customer service to all our guests at all times

The successful applicant must:

• Ideally, have some previous experience within the Hotel / hospitality sector, including delivering food/beverage services
• Have a calm, efficient, professional, and organised approach to your work
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, as training will be provided
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with good English competency for this customer-facing role
• Demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail
• Be comfortable working in a very busy environment
• Be able to work as part of a Team or on your own initiative
• Have a good standard of health / level of fitness, and be capable of, and comfortable with, physical activity
• Be flexible as regards work shifts (as our breakfast service can entail early morning starts - 0630/0700 - and our operation covers Monday to Sunday)
