Treatment Coordinator (TCO)
Dental Care Ireland, Wexford, have an excellent opportunity for a Treatment Coordinator to join our modern, established practice.

• This is a permanent, part-time role, 32 hours per week, Mon-Fri.
• Dental TCO experience would be an advantage.
• Must have 1+ years Dental Nursing or Dental Receptionist experience.

Reporting to: Practice Manager
Summary of Role
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the patient experience by acting as a liaison between the Dentist and the patient. The TCO assists in the gathering and organising of information and documentation at all stages of the patient journey, ultimately coordinating a treatment plan with the Dentist and presenting it to the patient
Tasks and Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with patients by providing treatment information & reassurance.
• Act as a liaison between Dentist and patient: be present during consultations, discuss and agree patient treatment plan with Dentist, discuss treatment plan costs with patients and ensure they are up-to-date on agreed payment schedule etc.
• Work with the Dentists in the practice (particularly specialists or those with a specialist interest) to devise a strategy to improve treatment uptake.
• Maximise provider diaries to ensure efficient use of time and to improve revenue per hour through zoning, treatment plan follow-up and price improvements.
• Engage in proactive diary management through the use of cancellation lists, cancellation policy, appointment reminders, recalls, tracking cancelled/FTA appointments etc.
• Assist with incoming as well as outgoing referrals in the practice.
• Assist with training and upskilling of clinical staff

Essential

• Must have 1+ years Dental Nursing or Dental Receptionist experience.
• Authorised to work in Ireland.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and oral English.
• Must have working knowledge in use of Microsoft Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and mail.
