We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to work as part of our current team of engineers. The candidate must be fluent in English. Duties will be performed primarily from our office in Headford but a full clean driving licence and own transport is essential as site visits will also be necessary.
The following qualifications or equivalent are required, experience desirable but not essential.

• Level 7: National Diploma / Ordinary degree in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or Architectural Technology.
• Level 8: Degree in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or Architectural Technology.

The successful candidate should be proficient in the use of Auto CAD and be capable of surveying and preparing drawings of existing buildings, sites and maps. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is also desirable.
They must know how to prepare planning applications, use the online planning portal, conduct a planning search and negotiate the planning archives of the relevant Planning Authority.
The working week is essentially from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with one hour for lunch. Hours will be flexible to accommodate working away from the office on site visits, property inspections etc.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualification and experience.
