We have fantastic opportunity for a pastry Chef to join our exisiting team at the newly open blackrock cottage in salthill Galway , working alongside award winning executive head chef Martin O Donnell and his culinary team . This opportunity will suit a skilled individual who shares our passion for great pastries , and also a creative flair for savoury sandwiches and deli items also , have previous experience working in a pastry department or a current chef with a strong pastry passion . we are looking to expand our team .
5am starts in the working until 1pm approx , 5 days per week and 2 days off and flexible.
You will have experience in a similar role or perhaps taking the next big step in their career.
Candidate Profile
Experience in a gastropub / fine dining pastry skills
Professional, can-do attitude , creative
Thorough knowledge of kitchen hygiene management
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen producing high quality food
Will work closely with the Head Chef to develop recipes, dishes and menus
