Early Years Educator

We are looking for an Early Years Educator to join our team in The Nest Charlestown. We have competitive salaries based on Qualification & Experience.
Core duties:
  • To report to the Management
  • To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team
  • Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
  • To adhere to the Child Care 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, the Child Care Act 1991, and all other relevant legislation and Regulations.
  • To adhere to good practice guidelines in relation to Aistear, Síolta, and policy documents
  • Ensure the safety, security and well-being of all children in your care
  • To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service always with specific responsibility for your designated room
  • To be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and to follow them accordingly.
The ideal candidates:
  • Minimum level 5 qualification in Childcare or equivalent if gained outside of Ireland( must be recognised by DCYA to work in childcare in Ireland)
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislation and standards relating to childcare.
  • Excellent administrative, organisation and computer skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Candidate must be fully flexible to cover shifts anytime between 7.30am- 18.00pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
