LMNO Childcare is a small setting located in the centre of Bray Co. Wicklow catering for children aged 2 and a half to 5 and half years old. We are dedicated to providing quality childcare to families. We believe, recognise and understand what it is to be a great childcare practitioner and we promote a good working environment so that staff can be the best they can be. We believe children who experience high quality care in their early years achieve better outcomes and develop abilities that are needed for life-long learning and to do this we motivate, respect, provide excellent training and constantly setting goals at appraisal time for all of our staff.
Job description:

To ensure a safe and secure environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children
Planning, reviewing and implementing activities/programmes appropriate to individual and group needs and individual emerging interests.
To ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date and accessible at all times
To work in close co-operation with management in relation to the overall delivery of service provided by the crèche.
To engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate the development of each child
To be flexible to work with all ages of the children
To maintain a organised and clean environment for the children
To ensure all daily reports of children are completed to ensure accurate communication at the end of the day
To build relationships with parents on a ongoing basis

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Fetac Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education (QQI recognised – please check on DCYA qualifications section)
At least one years’ experience
Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta frameworks
Good communication skills
The ability to be flexible
First aid and manual handling
Experience working with children with additional needs would be desirable/an added advantage but is not necessary

**Applicants must have a QQI/FETAC level 5 minimum qualifications in childcare and minimum 1 years experience in a childcare setting. Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland to apply for this position**

Licence/Certification:

FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare minimum (required)
