Our family-run flower shop is seeking a talented and dedicated experienced Florist who is looking to work in a fast paced environment to join our vibrant team.
Key Responsibilities:
Floral Design: Create beautiful and innovative floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, events, and daily orders. Your artistic vision and portfolio of work will play a key role in our offerings.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior florists and sales assistants, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide design recommendations, and ensure their vision is brought to life through your arrangements.
Quality Control: Ensure all floral products meet our high standards of quality and freshness.
Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest floral design trends and techniques, incorporating them into your work and sharing insights with the team.
Collaboration: Work closely with the team members to coordinate orders, deliveries, and daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a florist with at least 3-5 years experience working in retail/wedding floristry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your floral design skills.
- HIghly skilled at wedding flowers
- Excellent knowledge of flowers, plants, and design techniques.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for nurturing talent in others.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in using technology for order management and communication.
