An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading VFX and Post Production House in Dublin. This owner managed business is looking to onboard a Finance Manager with a keen interest in earning a name for themselves within this exciting industry. The ideal candidate will have a “can do” attitude when it comes to automation and refinement of internal processes to enable more visibility around project profitability.
You will report into the Consultant CFO who will help to craft and develop your role as you become more familiar with the culture of the business. On a day to day basis the role will report to the owners of the business.
Your time will be split between the two principal company sites in Dublin City Centre and Dun Laoghaire
Key Responsibilities: Weekly/Monthly
- Accounts Payable and accounts receivable
- Credit control
- Weekly cashflow forecasting and bank reconciliations
- Monthly payroll
- Job cost reporting
- Financial Analysis and reporting
- Cost control
- Maintain company compliance
- Development of a robust job reporting system
- Integration of systems and automation implementation where appropriate
- Development of budget and business planning tools
- Manage company integration with government bodies including Enterprise Ireland
This is a people led business and essential to have strong communication, a good sense of humour and a keen sense for working seamlessly with a wide and diverse team.
Salary for the role is based on experience and suitability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €40,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
