Job description
JT Pallets & Haulage based in Togher, Cork City currently have a vacancy for a Forklift Operator/ General Yard Operative to join our team. Immediate start is required and training will be provided for the right candidate.
About the Role

• Responsible for forklift driving, loading & unloading goods/pallets for distribution.
• Operation of forklifts and pallet trucks safely & efficiently.
• General housekeeping of yard including pallet stock counts and stock control as required.
• Actively participate with all health, safety & quality requirements relating to the safety policies and procedures within the yard.
• Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed daily.

Requirements

• Previous forklift driving experience. Counterbalance forklift licence essential.

• Be physically fit and capable to carryout manual tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality and overall the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Must possess good communication skills (English speaking required).
• Possess your own means of transport to gain access to our location.
