We are currently expanding our operations team and are looking to hire an experienced, skilled, and reliable Freight Import/Export Operation to join our team.

Responsibilities:
- Import / Export Operations
- Creating and invoicing new jobs
- Manage and retain relationships with clients
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market in road and Sea Freight
- Develop new business through generating sales leads and closing deals for Road and Sea Freight – Import & Exports
- Ability to organize own workload across a range of responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Ability to select appropriate procedures
- Work closely with internal teams such as operation, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Communicate all information correctly to warehouse/drivers - Shipping/Collection/Delivery booking references, times and locations.
- Keep customers informed of any changes to delivery schedules
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively, independently, and in a team environment
- Minimum experience in European Freight Operation within the Irish Transport Industry
- Monitors daily operation of the warehouse, road section with the team lead
- Prints off import / export manifest and trailer check sheets for each loading
- Marks any discrepancies on both the manifest and trailer check sheets when trailers are loaded/offloaded and ensure customers are informed
- Notifies customers immediately of any damages and takes pictures
- Works closely with Transport Department to manage trailer capacity and lane control
- Good Systems experience
- Strong administration skills
- Team player and problem solver is key
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Pay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
