In EY FS Ireland, we are expanding our Consulting practice. We are actively recruiting high achieving individuals with finance technology expertise and experience in large scale transformation projects in Financial Services.

Your Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Tech Delivery Lead with a proven track record in delivering finance technology solutions in financial Services clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of technology solutions that enhance the efficiency of Finance or address emerging regulatory needs. The candidate will be familiar with the full system development lifecycle from requirements through testing, in a Finance context. The candidate will have experience ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the delivery of complex Finance technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and integrations across customer platforms.
- Managing an end-to-end delivery process, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- Collaborating with across teams, including with Finance business stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers, and QA analysts, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Developing and maintaining detailed workstream project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budget tracking.
- Serving as a point of contact for project status, risk management, and issue resolution. Reporting on progress, challenges, successes to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Contributing to the application of best practices in project management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.
- Helping communication and collaboration between internal teams and external vendors or partners, in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to a workstream project team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 3 years delivering projects with a blue-chip consulting firm.
- Experience with delivering Finance technology and reporting systems for example SAP, Oracle.
- Strong project management skills, with experience of the full lifecycle of delivery on large scale Finance technology programmes.
- Experience operating in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment.
- Experience in delivering business value from technology as well as communicating the value to senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Stakeholder Management and working collaboratively with Development and Testing teams to deliver high quality solutions that meet client and user business needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation in a project context.
