Your Key Responsibilities:
Join our forward-thinking team of solution architects and play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation within the financial sector. As a member of our team, you will:
- Craft Strategic Architectural Visions: Develop and refine the overarching technology architecture strategy to support our client’s financial services' business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
- Design Cutting-Edge Solutions: Architect scalable, secure, and resilient solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver value to our clients.
- Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, IT experts, and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding and alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
- Lead Technology Selection: Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all architectural designs adhere to financial regulations, security standards, and data protection laws.
- Support Project Execution: Provide technical leadership across projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
- Manage Risks Proactively: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the technology landscape to maintain system integrity and reliability.
- Drive Performance Improvements: Analyse current systems and processes to recommend enhancements that optimize performance and user experience.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Lead and nurture a team of architects and engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Champion Innovation: Stay at the forefront of Fin Tech advancements to integrate innovative solutions that keep us ahead in a competitive market.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, preferably within the financial services industry, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in modern technologies and architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
- A deep understanding of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and emerging Fin Tech trends.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- A strategic mindset to align technology solutions with business goals and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience of working with the Agile methodology.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) may be preferred or required.
- Familiarity with Agile, Dev Ops practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve the speed and quality of software development.
- Experience working in or with international teams, understanding of global markets, and the ability to navigate cultural differences.
- Experience in negotiating with and managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Ability to work across various domains and systems, and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
