About the role:
We are looking to hire a factory floor-based General Operative to join our growing production team. This role involves physically demanding tasks such as repeatedly lifting and positioning wardrobe panels within a designated area in preparation for loading and dispatch.
Responsibilities include:
Ø Batching panels together as per the picking lists
Ø Locating any missing panels
Ø Checking for any damage to panels before stacking for dispatch
Ø Stacking panels with relevant picking list attached ready for dispatching
Ø Advising your manager of any discrepancies before panels are dispatched
About you:
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
Ø Has worked in the same or similar factory environment
Ø Ability to identify the various pieces that make up the units
Ø Physically able to lift and move panels on and off trolleys
Ø Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
Ø Ability to work unsupervised
Ø Ability to work under pressure
Ø High attention to detail
Ø Manual Handling
