Key responsibilities of General Operative

• Working alongside and supporting various tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers, with every aspect of the building process.
• Complete many construction tasks, including demolition/site clearance, grounds work, installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation, and painting and moving materials as required.
• Ensure all materials, equipment, and tools are used and stored as necessary; complete regular material, equipment, and tool checks and report any deficiencies.
• Work closely with the project manager and team to complete projects within deadlines and to specified standards.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies while participating in company training to improve your performance standard.
• Reading construction drawings/plans and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, etc.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions of the WRE Management team.

Key requirements of a General Operative

• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A Safe Pass Card and Manual Handling Certificate are required; however, training can be provided. [Additional tickets and qualifications are desirable but not essential]
• Valid Visa to work in Ireland
