Healthcare Assistant (live in) – Kilnaleck Area

• 1 by Full Time Carer (1 day per week - from 8am Wednesday to 8 am Thursday

Candidates must be highly motivated and interested in working in Care of an Adult.
Successful candidates will ensure that the highest standard of person-centred care is delivered.
Eligibility Criteria / Qualifications:

• FETAC level 5 or equivalent relevant qualification.
• Current valid Manual Handling, CPR, First Aid, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults Certificates.
• Provide 2 written references.
• Familiar with Health Act 2007.
• Fluent level of English, both written and oral.
• Experience working with Acquired Brain Injury patients would be an advantage.
• Experience working with a person with mobility issues would be an advantage;
• All successful candidates will be Garda Vetted.
• Full Clean Driving Licence

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of individualised care.
• Work effectively and efficiently in terms of time management, personal organisation with adherence to policies and work procedures.
• Provide personal care, meals, and companionship to the patient and complete standard household duties in patient’s modern home.
• Practice professional and responsible health care
• Shift is rostered 8am Wednesday to 8am Thursday morning and includes overnight residency.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Contractual terms and conditions will be discussed at interview stage with interested and suitable candidates.
