We are seeking a reliable and professional RCV HGV Driver to join our team in Louth
Role Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently empty wheelie bins along designated routes, ensuring contaminated or blacklisted bins are not collected.
Return bins to their original positions after collection.
Support the driver with commercial wheelie bin collections and provide route guidance to relief drivers as needed.
Assist the driver with reversing operations for safety.
Complete required paperwork and accurately clock in/out daily. Maintain punctuality and adhere to route schedules.
Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism toward customers, the public, and colleagues, and report any issues to the line manager.
Comply fully with company Health and Safety standards to ensure the welfare of all employees and the public.
Assist in the training of new staff as required by the business.
Candidate Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in the transport or waste industry.
Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification are advantageous.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible and able to work across various sections of the business as needed.
Proficiency in English is essential, along with eligibility to work in Ireland.
Experience in the waste industry is a plus.
