Who are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about care at home, providing their service in a respectful, empathetic and safe manner and would like to continue developing their professional path in full-time and part-time roles.
This role is specific for Homecare Assistants in Dublin, Limerick, Wicklow and Kildare.
Essential experience and skills:
- QQI Healthcare Modules - Care Skills & Care of the Older Person,
- Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Empathetic, kind and caring nature,
- High motivation to provide the best quality of service, centered on the individual,
- Full driving license and access to own vehicle (preferred),
- Good standard of English - both spoken and written,
- Experience working in a healthcare background would be an advantage,
- Eligibility to work in Ireland (required).
Key job responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily aspects of living in the client's home,
- Providing a high standard of personal care,
- Providing support and companionship with developing social interactions and activities inside the home and in the community,
- Meeting each person's needs in a safe environment,
- Develop and establish positive professional relationships with clients,
- Supporting various tasks such as personal care, meal prep, housekeeping, shopping, medication prompt.
