We are looking for Experienced and Qualified Home Healthcare Assistants who are available to provide high quality homecare for our clients. When our client's care needs change they often require extra care hours. The early responder will provide the extra care as soon as possible and continue the care for a week or two or until a regular carer is in place. Flexibility and availability are important. A Car and a clean drivers license are essential for this role.
Ideally suited to candidates who can work up to 35 hours/5 days per week with some weekend availability.
Home & Away Care: is managed by a medical and nursing team.
You will:

• visit and support people who are in need of care in their homes, providing personal care including assistance with mobilising, dressing, showering, toileting, supervise medication, and assist with meal preparation and light household duties.
• be observant of the client's wellbeing, general health and note and report any changes.
• listen to and respond appropriately to the client and the family's concerns
• report all incidents and complaints.

Candidates must have :

• QQI level 5 in at least 2 modules-Care skills and Care of the Elderly
• 4 years experience as a healthcare assistant with at least 2 of these in Homecare
• A car with a full clean driver's license
• a caring disposition and be Reliable, Trustworthy and Compassionate
