Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Concern Worldwide HQ Dublin, Ireland.
This role will be based in the Dublin office with a salary from Grade 4(€34,432 - €39,351). This is a 12-month full-time Fixed Term Contract.

We want committed, values driven staff to join our Dublin team and are currently looking for a HR Officer to be part of our Human Resources department.

Our office is located in Dublin 2 and we are currently working a hybrid model (50% remote working) and offer flexi time.
The job: Working as part of a shared services team, the HR Officer is responsible for providing support to Concern’s HQ and International staff on all employee life cycle activities. The HR Officer will be responsible for the on boarding of all international and HQ staff as well as responsibility for payroll administration, maintenance of employee records, time and attendance processes and the leaver process. The HR Support Officer will play a key role in providing an effective and efficient HR Helpdesk service to all staff
If you join us, you will be:
Responsible for all stages of the on-boarding (including pre-departure) process.
Responsible for the administration of HQ and International payroll, ensuring that payroll is updated with leavers, joiners and all other pay impacting information.
Responsible for contract renewals, paperwork for acting-up arrangements and secondments.
Responsible for ensuring all employee records are kept up to date and compliant with GDPR. This includes updating the relevant HR Systems.
Responsible for the administration of the probation process for all new joiners and promotions. This includes tracking dates, issuing reminders to management and issuing probation letters.
Responsible for the administration of employee benefits, such as, the bike to work scheme, annual commuter scheme and inclusion in pension scheme.
Responsible for the management of the flexi time system, including the processing of maternity leave, sick leave and all other forms of statutory leave.
Responsible for ensuring all queries received through the HR Helpdesk are responded to appropriately and within agreed SLAs, escalating to other teams in HR wnecessary.
Responsible for tracking and reporting on queries received through the HR Helpdesk.
Responsible for meeting all HR reporting requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
Support the HR Shared Services Team Lead, as necessary, during the HRIS project.
Accept, advance and pursue any new objectives or responsibilities that may be assigned by HR Management.
Ensure that the organization’s values and policy commitments, including accountability, equality and safeguarding, are reflected in assigned responsibilities and contribute to a positive internal and external working relationship within the HR Shared Services Team and with stakeholders/customers.
Skills you will bring:
Essential:
University degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a preference for international experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong MS Office skills
Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data
A strong team player
Proven ability to deliver on results and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on own initiative
Desirable:
CIPD membership
Previous experience working in the INGO sector
Fluency in French
