Pepsi Co Internship Programme
is 6-8 month program designed for high potential undergraduate students, just like you, into real life business impact roles – with the goal to best prepare you for a successful future. We are now looking to hire an R&D EHS intern to join the team in Little Island, Cork, Ireland starting next year for the duration of 6-8 months.

Who We are:
- We are the concentrate team in Pepsi Co working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of Pepsi Co’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.
- We are at the heart of Pepsi Co products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands.
- We are a global organisation, situated in 15 locations across 6 countries offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT.

- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the EHS Department by:
- Proactively championing EHS, and safe working practices across the company’s activities and operations.
- Working collaboratively and cross functionally with the various Departments by providing EHS updates, support and advice to colleagues.
- Assisting with reporting, investigating, and recording of accident, incident, near-miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation.
- Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments as required, ensuring appropriate action plans in place
- Supporting the EHS training programme by coordinating and delivering EHS training for new and existing employees and maintaining training records.
- Support the implementation of the EHS management system (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
- Support the upkeep of EHS systems such as the legal, SDS and event database
- Supporting the tracking and reporting of EHS KPI’s/ metrics
- Updating and maintaining EHS documentation
- Partnering with Departments to accomplish site EHS objectives
- Actively participating in site EHS committee meetings.
- Providing general support and assistance to the EHS Manager
- Undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) field or related discipline.
- Good communication & analytical skills.
- Team Player.
- Excellent people skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter, self-sufficient and eager to learn.
- Strong IT Skills in Word, Power Point & Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
