Job Title: Income Accountant

Permanent, 39 hours.

Location:
10D Beckett Way, Park West Business Park, Dublin 12 (Hybrid model)

Job Purpose:
The Income Accountant ensures accuracy and consistency of Income recognition in a compliant manner across the Rehab Group. The Income Accountant is responsible for ensuring all income is invoiced and recognised, in line with underlying Service Level Agreements, and be the point of contact with our Business Development Team in ensuring accuracy of income recorded. The Income Accountant will also support the business by being a point of contact for our funders and by monitoring the receipt and allocation of customer cash receipts. The Income Accountant will also be responsible for internal reporting where required.

Minimum Education & Experience required:
  • A degree or equivalent level of education in Business Studies or a related discipline
  • Part Qualified Accountant: IATI; ACA; ACCA; CIMA (desirable)
  • Up to 2 years relevant experience
  • Working to tight deadlines in large complex accounting function—essential
  • Working in a complex accounting function to strict reporting deadlines—essential
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly performance reports for Middle and Senior Management to track variances in income and the level of outstanding debtors
  • Develop a working relationship with all key stakeholders, including Funders, Finance, Business Development and HR in order to ensure effective communication.
  • Develop and perform monthly income reconciliations between expected and actual income streams in line with underlying Service Agreements
  • Monitor the debtor position on an ongoing basis, ensuring cash is received in a timely manner and allocated appropriately.
Additional requirements

  • As part of our recruitment process, if applicable, candidates will be required to provide a Police certificate from the countries they have resided prior coming to Ireland.
