Insurance Representative Portlaoise

If you are looking for a new challenge, this role as an Insurance Representative based in Portlaoise with full training provided.
We’re looking for positive customer service professionals - some previous experience would be great, but more important will be your passion for customer service, natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem-solving ability as well as great communication and computer skills.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll spend your time in a local branch office, engaging with our customers face to face, identifying and meeting their needs, across new business and renewals, as well as other service-related interactions. Together with other branch colleagues, you may occasionally be involved in external business development activities, promoting AXA across various community and business initiatives.
Salary: A competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus.

Working Hours:
Full time, 36.5 hours per week, working within our business hours of Monday to Friday.
Induction & Training:
You’ll receive a comprehensive induction and benefit from a structured training programme with one of our specialist Trainers, which will be a blended delivery in branch and from home. We'll give you all the training and support you need to become a confident and skilled Representative, including continual development of your technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
Training is 4 weeks full time and all IT & office kit will be provided enabling you to mix home and office based training.

Your Profile

About the Person

If you have strong customer service skills, an enthusiastic telephone manner and are comfortable negotiating and selling, then this is a great opportunity for you with a company operating throughout Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
Minimum essential requirement of successful leaving certificate (including Maths & English) or equivalent, and at least 6 months experience in a customer service role.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.
This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.
