IT Assistant

ELI Schools is a fast-growing English language training company with 4 schools in Ireland. We are looking for an IT Assistant to help us maintaining the computer networks, providing technical support, and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct all levels of end user technical support providing first level support.
  • Installation and administration of servers, workstations, laptops, and printers.
  • Internet server maintenance
  • Phone Network
  • Setting up computer, emails, Microsoft Account
  • Installation and administration of MS Office applications (Including Microsoft 365)
  • Cyber Security
  • Management of print support and services
  • Review and maintain logs (various systems/devices)
  • Manage and maintain backups and restores.
  • Managing IT inventory
Requirements and Skills:
  • 3rd Level Qualification in a relevant field such as IT/ Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites including 2010 and 2016
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Experience in the setup of Microsoft outlook profiles
  • Understanding of the installation and configuration of current software packages and systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot software system.
Type of contract:
Permanent, with 6 months probationary period.
