Kitchen Porter (Part-Time Position Only)

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter. This role is perfect for someone seeking to embark on a rewarding career in the hospitality industry, as no prior experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by efficiently supplying clean dishes and pots and maintaining a spotless and organised environment. Your contributions will be crucial in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
We offer flexible working arrangements, with both full-time and part-time positions available. You will be assigned a roster that may include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and even public holidays, so availability during these times is essential. Please note that immediate authorisation to work in Ireland is required.
Key Duties:

Thorough cleaning of crockery, utensils, and equipment as needed
Maintaining cleanliness of staff and public facilities
Cleaning walls, countertops, and general floor areas
Conducting day-to-day cleaning duties in kitchen areas
Ensuring general floor areas are clean and tidy
Proper disposal of waste
Handling deliveries and assisting with stock rotation
Adhering to Food Safety, Health & Safety, and HACCP procedures at all times
Accommodating reasonable requests from the Manager/Supervisor

Additional Duties may include:

Assisting the Head Chef in daily food preparation
