Mechanical Construction Manager

Rockwell are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee an exciting mechanical engineering project in the Kildare region, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily mechanical construction activities on the project.
- Plan, develop, and organise the mechanical construction process to create the most cost-effective plan, ensuring timely completion within budget, and oversee its execution.
- Responsible for executing the scope of work related to construction/fabrication and pre-commissioning in line with the approved project schedule.
- Monitor and report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager promptly.
- Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings are properly documented.
- Adhere to Safety, EHS, and Quality Standards in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Manage site design and mechanical construction processes.
- Plan and allocate all resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
- Lead and motivate the team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
- Possess a background in a relevant trade or engineering discipline.
- Have over 5 years of industry experience.
- Previous work with a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Contractor in Ireland or the UK, ideally on Industrial or Pharmaceutical projects, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC and building services design.
- Show proven ability to manage both people and programs.
- Exhibit clear communication skills with all stakeholders.
