Over the Counter Assistant
Due to expansion, Mc Greals Pharmacy are recruiting an Over-the-Counter Assistant. This role will be based in our flagship store (Blessington Pharmacy) which is located in the picturesque town of Blessington, Co Wicklow. We are a community-based pharmacy and patient care is our number one priority.
Key responsibilities of an Over-the-Counter Assistant include:
· First point of contact for patients when they enter the pharmacy.
· Work with the pharmacy team to provide excellent care to our patients.
· To look after patient queries both over the counter and by telephone.
· Assist with over the counter sales.
· Check orders when they arrive and put away in the appropriate area.
· Ensure shelves are filled with the correct amount of stock.
· Reorder stock as required.
· Ensure work areas are always clean & tidy.
The ideal candidate:
· Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, very well presented.
· Professional manner and treat all patients with care, empathy and respect.
· Flexible.
· Able to work as part of a team while also able to work on own initiative.
· Experience of working within a pharmacy is not essential but is an advantage. Experience of working within retail / hospitality in a customer facing role is required.
Location: Blessington, Co Wicklow (15 minutes from Naas and 20 minutes from Tallaght)
Days per week: 5 days a week (Between Monday and Saturday. Required to work every 2nd Saturday)
