Job Title: Office Administrator (Pobal supported)
Contract Type: Part-time Permanent (in line with Pobal Contract)
19.5 hours per week
The main purpose of the role is to support the administrative needs of the Walled Garden in line with the Strategic Goals and Objectives of the Organisation
Job Description: The principal duties and responsibilities include:
· Oversee the allotments, usage, numbers and maintenance and liaising with accounts re payments.
· To input the weekly rotas for all horticulture staff and volunteers in conjunction with the Head of Horticulture
· Liaise with the Garden Center Manager/ Horticulture and Retail to the ordering of stock for the garden shop
· To oversee the recruitment, induction, and supervision of volunteers
· Completing stationery order
· To comply with the Health and Safety requirements of the organisation.
· To attend staff meetings and training as required.
· To build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, students & service members.
· To contribute to the overall strategic planning of Festina Lente.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential requirements the person must meet are as follows:
· 3 years continuous experience of Office Administration
· Competency in IT - minimum ECDL or equivalent
· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet
· Experience with Publisher an advantage
· Experience of updating websites/shops – previous use of Word Press

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary: €13.40 per hour, depending on experience, Pobal Funded
Hours: 19.5 hours per week
Pension: Employees have access to PRSA scheme.
Working Week: Monday - Friday, 5 half days
Travel & Subsistence: A fleet of vehicles is available. However, there may be a requirement from time to time to travel in your own vehicle. If and when these occasions arise, expenses will be paid in accordance with Festina Lente travel rates
Annual Leave: Annual Leave will be calculated at 8% of all hours worked. Entitlement to Public Holidays will be in accordance with the Working Time Act of 1997
