Programme Overview:
The Connecting Artists (CA) Programme & Collective is a national initiative that tackles the lack of professional opportunities for artists with disabilities. By providing a structured programme that pairs artists with mentors and offers platforms for showcasing their work, the programme provides artists with paid opportunities, exhibitions, and visibility, fostering greater societal understanding of their contributions to the arts.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, organised, and passionate Part-Time Project Manager to oversee the management of the Connecting Artists Programme and support the CA Collective. This role requires strong organisational skills, experience in project management, and the ability to work closely with artists, mentors, and the team at CAC to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.
The role will involve a structured part-time schedule, including onboarding, programme setup, communication with artists and mentors, event coordination and management, and overall project oversight. You will work closely with the CAC team to ensure smooth programme and project delivery, enhance visibility through social media and marketing efforts, and facilitate the development of participating artists.
Key Responsibilities:–
Programme Initiation
- Onboarding: Prepare for the programme’s launch and align with the team on key deliverables.
- Weekly Project Management:
- Review and organise programme applications.
- Collaborate with the CAC team on programme preparation.
- Promote the programme to potential applicants and mentors through social media, email, and direct communication.
- Weekly Project Management:
- Continue application review and organisation.
- Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection/voting process.
- Set up the programme infrastructure and initiate artist/mentor communication.
- Manage social media communications and Mail Chimp outreach.
- Weekly Programme Calls
- Facilitation and planning support on Artists Zoom Calls (weekly 2 hours)
- Plan and facilitate Mentor calls (bi-weekly/1 hour)
- Pre and post call follow-up communications and feedback (2 hours weekly)
- Weekly Project Management:
- Provide ongoing support to artists and mentors (calls, Whats App, emails).
- Facilitate programme activities and ensure smooth communication across teams.
- Develop marketing and media strategies for programme visibility.
- Engage with the CAC team for regular updates and troubleshooting.
- Weekly Project Management:
- Event planning for RCSI with CAC team
- Oversee event preparation at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).
- Lead the marketing and media efforts for the event, partner with marketing partner
- Provide support and communication to artists and mentors during this critical phase.
- Manage and support Event
- including setup, breakdown, and artist feedback/ interviews collection.
- Oversee social media and artist marketing
- Project Management:
- Continue with media coverage and social media promotion.
- Conduct post-event follow-up with artists and mentors.
- Preparation and support of the event
- Weekly Project Management:
- Finalize reporting on the impact of the programme and next steps for future engagement.
- Maintain social media presence and communication with artists and mentors for programme closure.
Contract length: 8-10 months
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Nights as needed
- Weekend availability
- Project management: 1 year (preferred)
- Ireland (required)
