Job Purpose
You will take responsibility for the processing of weekly & monthly payroll of salaried and hourly paid employees. This will involve interpreting and processing staff payment information in order to ensure correct payments are received according to DPI policy and statutory regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the company payroll system.
- Prepare weekly/monthly payroll for Dulux Paints Ireland employees.
- Prepare process & reconcile payroll.
- Produce & distribute pay slips & regular reports.
- Respond to queries from colleagues.
- Assisting with paying deducted amounts due to third parties on a monthly basis, and the balancing of all voluntary deduction schemes.
- Calculate taxes and Benefits in Kind (BIK) accurately and efficiently.
- Process PAYE, PRS and USC returns & payments on time.
- Retrieving and uploading RPN’s for the applicable companies and also reconciling and filing payroll submissions\returns on ROS.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver process & service improvements.
- Provide support & guidance to the HR Manager in pay related issues.
- Certified Payroll Technician or equivalent payroll qualification
- Experience in a similar role.
- An in-depth knowledge of electronic payroll package & clocking system (Bright Pay/Advance Systems TMS).
- The job requires flexible working hours/days (22 hours per week) and a hybrid policy applies.
- Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
