Physiotherapist Assistant - Permanent Contract
Applications are invited for the position of a permanent Physiotherapist Assistant in St. Vincent's Private Hospital.
The purpose of this post is to assist the physiotherapist in clinical and administrative duties that support the Physiotherapy Department in the provision of a high-quality service.
Essential Criteria:
Hold a FETAC (NCVA Level 5) Health Care Support Certificate including the modules on Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice.
OR
Other qualifications may also meet competency requirements, and will be assessed on an individual basis.
Experience working in a clinical and healthcare environment and familiarity with working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
Desirable:
Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations and Hospital policies and procedures
Eagerness to undertake study programmes which enhance the role
Good IT skills
