Public Area Assistant
The Hilton Dublin (part of the MHL Hotel Collection) is currently recruiting for an experienced Public Area Assistant on a full time basis.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Clean all public areas assigned, ensuring the hotel’s established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guests.
Duties will include:

Clean public areas as assigned, including bathrooms.
Vacuum carpet and wooden floor, and mop floors in public spaces.
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to regulations and hotel requirements. This includes ensuring the correct labeling of items.
Clean and keep guest corridors, service pantries and service areas neat and tidy at all times.
Return and restock supply public area locker at end of shift.
Clean other areas as required by Management.
Cleaning of bedrooms may be required from time to time.
Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
To carry out any other duties as required.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked in housekeeping in a similar hotel 4 star environment, have excellent attention to detail and is able work both as part of a team and by themselves.
Fluent English is essential.
